MM2 ancient values on Neblio are based on recent trading activity. Our team reviews completed trades submitted by community members to determine how ancients are performing relative to each other, and each ancient is then valued accordingly.
When our team evaluates the value of an MM2 ancient, we consider several factors.
Demand is the biggest factor. Ancients with high demand are more likely to receive overpays, since there's a larger pool of players who want them. A low demand ancient on the other hand is often traded for less than it's actually worth, since there's a smaller pool of players who want it, making the ancient harder to trade.
Rarity is another major factor. Older ancients and ancients that are no longer obtainable generally become more valuable over time due to their limited supply, and as a result receive better offers. Rare ancients also tend to be held by more experienced traders and collectors, making them much harder to get for cheap.
Trends also play an important role. Sometimes when one ancient starts performing well, other ancients with similar characteristics follow suit. When players miss an opportunity with one ancient, they often look for similar ancients in the hope that they'll perform well too.
Trading activity is the most important factor since it's the culmination of demand, rarity, and trends. When those factors come together, they influence the offers a ancient receives. If a ancient keeps getting good trades, its value goes up. If players keep accepting less than its set value, it goes down.
